Upcoming Live Online Dialogue:
Why the UN Doesn't Learn and What This Means in an Era of Reform

The UN and its member states invest heavily in learning, evaluation and oversight mechanisms as part of an organizational learning architecture, intended to facilitate continuous improvement of performance. Yet, new research by Dr. Ben Christian illustrates that this learning architecture is failing to achieve its aims, in part because of an organizational culture that suppresses internal dissent and criticism.

Join us at ReformWorks for an online discussion with Dr. Ben Christian on 30 May at 9:00 EST/15:00 CET to explore why the UN struggles with internal criticism and what this means for ongoing reform efforts. This will be a constructive and critical interactive dialogue with Dr. Christian and participants, who are working in and with the UN and other international organizations, facilitated by Katja Hemmerich, Managing Director of ReformWorks. Accordingly, all participants will be asked to adhere to Chatham House rules as a condition of their participation.
